The project “To meet a book every day” was one from the whole range of projects aiming to support the reading with the children, youth and also (this time) the grown-ups. We not only wished to address our readers through the project events, but with the help of event interactive forms, we also wanted to capture those who just were looking for time and liking to read interesting literature. Our project wished to become some literature game where we wanted to surprise with unusual meetings with the belles lettres and with more or less well known personalities from (and not only) the world of literature – in intriguing places, not typical time and in unusual forms. Many chamber-like events were prepared within the project framework; also larger productions were made directly in the town exteriors where literature, books and reading aloud were presented from various angles – like creative reading, theatre performances, creative workshops, antiquarian book stores, presentations of authors, editors and exhibitions.
