Description
At the Low Carpathian’s foothills, some 5km from Piešťany, spreads the village of Krakovany. There you can fi nd a private ethnographic museum behind the Krakovany Gates. If you are interested in what is hidden behind the museum doors, you’ll be welcomed and allowed to peek into the past. The whole museum exposition documents not only the lives of the Krakovany residents but also the neighbouring villages. The equipment and tools used in agriculture, food preparation as well as for homestead and domestic work are displayed there.
