Various events in the town exteriors were organised with a goal to enrich the choice of the cultural happenings during the summer months. Their goal also was to diversify the quality of the free time (especially aimed at the children and adolescents), to present the Slovak folklore and artistic traditions of the region as well as the less traditional art forms; and, of course, to present and make to be seen the Town Library activities and its works. That helped to present the Town Library as a modern culture institution. The project was composed from four blocs, and each represented different theme and area of artistic creativity in their varied forms: creativity of disabled people, non-traditional presentations of books and literature, humour, folklore and traditional craftsmanship.
