Description
The Military History Museum, part of the Military History Institution, can be found at the premises of the former air force airport in Piešťany. The exposition displays the military equipment of the Czechoslovak Army from 1945 till 1992. Over its huge area, the Museum gives its visitors the opportunity to look at more than a hundred pieces of heavy and light equipment as well as planes and helicopters. They are displayed in open air and in three former air force hangars.
